I received a note with the DVG-2001S, which has five steps on "How to Configure DVG-2001s:"

1. Connect it to any LAN port of your router;
2. **1 to get the IP address of this ATA;
3. http://iP address of ATA/admin and login as admin/admin
4. Configure VOIP - both server & agent config
5. Apply & Reboot

How does one accomplish step 2? Where does one input **1?

I have tried vainly to use the quick start guide to configure the dvg-2001s with Mac OS X 10.5 so I hope there is another way. I can also boot the computer in Windows Vista.

Plug a phone in the box while its powered on and connected to your router then dial **1.  An automated voice will read you the current IP address for the box.
