« on: November 13, 2009, 03:12:59 AM »

While googling I came across this link:
http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/D-ViewCam/REV_A/Software/

Did anyone try version 2.05? Please share your experience and feedback.

Hi Aiman,

I have been using 2.05 for a while and it works very well. No problems up to this date.

I would recommend checking out D-ViewCam v 3.0

I would recommend checking out D-ViewCam v 3.0

ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/D-View%20Cam/DViewCam_300.zip

does it support dcs-950G? I have a dcs-950G and a new dcs-2121.. on d-viewcam 2.03 none works (always on "connecting") i downloaded ver. 3.0 and i can only install and configure dcs-2121 but the dcs-950G isn't recognised..

The two cameras works fine in my LAN and in iExplorer i can see both working without problem. But now i have two and i would like to use d-viewcam to see in a single monitor both cam, i don't need to record or to connect from internet, just LAN monitoring, both cam have fixed ip both cam have upnp active, the dcs-950G has the last firmware i found on italian d-link site (ver 2.0)

thanks..

P.S. If i'm OT please sorry, don't delete but move in a new thread, tnx..  :)

The DCS-2121 was listed on the list of supported cameras I did not see the DCS-950G on the list. Did you try and add it manually?

Hi Aiman,

I have been using 2.05 for a while and it works very well. No problems up to this date.

2.04 and 2.05 both have issues with Generating AVI on Windows 7 (32-bit) at my end. 3.00 works like a charm on both W7 32bit and Vista 64bit, just the default for AVI changed to low-qual, where the 'new' ASF format is very good and efficient...
