Is it possible to migrate from 323 to 343?

As I'm getting close to filling up my DNS-323, I thought for a moment that I might want to just get a dns-343, put my 2 1TB drives from my 323 in there, and add two more drives. 

But can you simply take two mirrored drives from the 323 and stick them in the 343 and expect it to work?

Apologies if this has been asked before, I wasn't able to find it when searching.

This has been discussed recently on an engineering side. Right now the answer is no. The DNS-323 and DNS-343 use different format structures. We are looking at what the best upgrade path is for people just like you without losing data or causing any heart aches. As of right now I do not have a solution other than to copy the data across to a new drive =\, or format one of your Raided drives in the DNS-343 and then copy data from your degraded raid on your DNS-323 across the network.

Thanks for the info.  I presumed that is how it would be.  At this point I just need tosit down and figure out what is the best cost/benefit option; buy a second 323 with two more drives -or- buy a 343 with two more drives (4 drive total & raid-5 it).
