wirless problems

It seems that surfing the interent is a problem, My signal streth is between 85 and 100 % and I get 300 mps acordding to the software, But I have trouble surfing the internet, Just bringing up web pages is a problem, I have firmware 1.32 and reset the router and rebooted the modem , sometimes it work ,But most of the time no..

You need to gather some info so you'll know generally what are the problem lies.

It sounds like you are using wireless.  Do you experience the same thing when wired?

Have you reset the modem after attaching the router? Some modems need that.

I'm afraid that I don't know tonnes about wireless because I tend to avoid it because of an old school prejuidice against it.  I'd rather run cable and never worry about it again rather than mess with wireless every so often. 

Having said that, I had various wireless problems because the router doesn't actually tell you if you configure something that isn't possible and/or ideal.

Dlink actually has a decent FAQ that I found useful on the support site, and also, I seem to recall reading that having B/G/N enabled caused problems for some people.  I'd try going N only if you can as a first step, and then adjusting your encryption settings on the router.

well the phone now is knocking the connection out , If I go on some channel's then my wifes laptop goes to G mode , she's has a d-link N adapter in it, I had to take the N adpter of my daughter comuter and put the G back on just so she could stay connected..

Is your phone connected to the router or to your modem? If the latter is applicable, you might have an issue with your ISP (or a broken modem).

It's hard to say what is happening, since it could easily be that the distance between router and clients is too big or there are other wireless devices (neighbours) on the same channel.

IHave you tried connecting with the phones tunred off? Some cheap DECT phones are really causing issues with wiresless networks.

You might want to try a Google search. It's been too long to remember where I read about it (more places). You can figure: DECT 2.4 Mhz....wirless 2.4 mhz....although both are not overlapping, the cheap DECT do not always show good behaviour in the frequency variance. Europe DECT is on another frquency, as are top of the line DECT (5.8 Mhz)
