Best Online Payment Processing!

Hi all,

I have a website that will allow people can buy information products online. As I am starting my business I do not want to open a merchant account. my question is about payment merchant services:

1- Which is the best payment processing to use that allows people to use their credit card?

2- Not using a merchant account reduces the payment rate. For example, some people do not like the idea of having to open a Pay-Pal account to make payments so they do not buy.

What is the solution to that? I do not want to open a merchant account but I also want customers to have the confidence to make payments online.
