I am in Canada, had canera sent to Mexico and friend was unable to install "remotly", however was able to install "local" with dlink lite using my user id and password, works fine on his iphone but cant access with app on my iphone back home.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Sounds like he wouldn't be able to access on his iphone remotely.

The router could be blocking, but more than likely the ISP is blocking. (my guess).
