Hi
I just purchased a new S150 and set it up with no problems. It is working well, except that I can't get notified through the mydlink home app when the phone is locked and there is motion. I see the last detection time is correct, but no sound or buzzing. I checked the app status and it says notifications are on, andt when I check the app notifications under Sound and Notification, I have "app peeking" on and notification is enabled. Under Settings/apps I see mydlink home's notifications are "normal".
Any thoughts?
By the way, does anyone get notifications using the mydlink home app? or is there another app?
Using Wireshark, I see my S150 periodically reporting to IP address 224.0.0.251 a membership report.
Using Wireshark, when I start the dlink Home app and select the S150, I see 2 MDNS packets sent to the same membership IP address 224.0.0.251 a 344 byte packet standard query response, a D-Link HNAP service and a 97 byte packet standard query response "QM" question.
When I do some motion in front of the S150, no packets are sent. The only time packets are sent by the S150 is when I open the mydlink Home app. Then the packets are sent and the time of motion detected is updated on my phone.
I'm thinking the android app is not enabling the S150 to do the push when motion is detected. So I'm thinking there must be another app, because according to the review in PC Mag http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2470505,00.asp it was working in Oct 2014.
