Vlan trunk
« on: June 30, 2009, 01:10:45 AM »

Hi,

I've got 2 switches DGS-1248T with multiple vlans.
The 1st one is connected to my router-firewall on port 1.
How do I get a "trunk" link to carry multiple VLANs from switch n°2 to switch n°1 --> router ?
It seems that "trunk" designate a different thing in the web interface (cascading two or more ports), so what is the equivalent to vlan trunk in dgs-1248T ?

Thanx  :)

There is no single button for it, just make that port a tagged member of all of your VLANs on both sides.
