The Windows 8 support does not work.  It still asks to disable UAC (which means you can't use most functions of Windows , and goes into the continual "The program must restart to apply a new setting" loop.

Was this ever resolved? I'm having the same issue.

I just installed it on an older machine running XP 32 bit and it works fine. I see that D-Link is doing a great job with all these 6 month old posts and still no resolution.  The 32 bit systems are going away fast, it's about time D-Link gets with the times. I'm beginning to regret spending any money on their products.

The D-ViewCam software is supported on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard with Service Pack 1?. added when the cameras image the same goes black and I see nothing, I installed correctly on a Windows 7, but in windows server 2008 did not work, I can make it work?
