I am currently using various DLink cams with DView Cam. Bundled with the new 3716 I've bought comes DView Cam Professional. Testing it left me with a strange question.
The DView Prof. on the CD in the 3716's box actually doesn't support the 3716 at all. It is not among the models in the list of cameras, autodetection tells me its an unknown model and selecting something like the 3710 instead just crashes the application.
If the "About" dialog is right, thats a DCS-220 version from (c) 2010 (build 3.4.2 1861).
The "normal" DView Cam 3.4 (and of course 3.5) knows the camera and works well with it.
So, is this supposed to be that way? If it exists, where could I possibly obtain a more recent trial of the Pro version that makes proper use of a 3716?
