I would make sure that your DSL phone lines are in good working order and condition, filtered properly and set up well from the out side box or pole to the building. Seen it where some phone lines and such are not set up well and causes problems. I would contact the ISP provider and see if they see any logs and check there signals during the time frame of this. I would also ask to see if they handle any DSL modem FW as some handle this instead of D-Link. I might ask D-Link if there is any FW information on this as well.

They check phone line to my cross and say everything is fine...
I brought other microfilter (DSL-35MF) and try splitter(DSL-30CF).
Also my friend give me DSL-2500U (Only difference i notice - web interface looks different).
Nothing changed...But I noticed that Bit Errors is increasing sometimes.

So I call once again to my ISP support. This time they checked whole line and sad everything is fine… "your line is 15-17 Mbps"...They said that would try to switch to another phone pair. Support application/request status: still opened (more than week)
But modem still losing synchronization every 30 min to 2 hr - there no exact interval.

DSL-320B D1 v.1.2
DSL-2500U/BRU/D D1 v.1.58 (menu in english)
Configure as router, mode ADSL2+.

It seems like you have tried a couple different modems and they seem to still have problems. I would still presume that there is a ISP phone line, filter or signal issue here. I recommend phone contacting Level 2 D-Link support for your region and have them check your settings to make sure the modem is set up right at least and check any logs entries. I commend getting a ISP line technician to come out and have an in person look to make sure the phone lines are set up right and working well.

Keep us posted.

Ask your ISP what MTU values are needed, if any, and I would contact D-Link support regarding this as well to make sure your Modem is set up right.

For DSL MTU values are between 1454 up to 1492.

ISP sad "default" is 1492. Modem was set to 1492. Its restriction to ip not adsl...

Anyway, there no changes on Statistics page - lot of Upstream errors.

Not remember exactly, but was something about code "2" and "Lost synchronization due line problems" when they check my whole line. I can try to find out, but isp call center operators have no information about that.
Also they limit my port speed - now its lower than my tariff - "Rate (Kbps): 4896 1067" (Attainable Rate (Kbps):   15172    1070 ) - for "testing".
Code: [Select]
HEC Errors: 3 815475
OCD Errors: 0 0
LCD Errors: 0 0
Total Cells: 48803859 635128920
Data Cells: 1271865 46132827
Bit Errors: 0 39012026

Total ES: 3 33367
Total SES: 0 6290
Total UAS: 15 35590305
Only thing that i can say for now - they don't know where the problem is :( And why there noise mostly on upstream tones.
Also there no answer from any D-Link support about Statistics page.

You need to phone D-Link support and contact Level 2 or higher and see if there is any information about this. I presume this is still a ISP service issue and needs to be addressed by the ISP.

If both modems exhibits the same conditions, you can tell your ISP that you've tried 2 different modems and each one shows the same problem and feel that its there issue they need to address.

I called there ~5-6 times. There only call center operators(info about config, tariffs, application/request, sessions etc), all additional information і received from repairers(non-officially), when they come to me. Repairers can only contact workers form telephone station/exchange who can change port on DSLAM, but not configure it. All of them (and probably ppl who have access to dslam - work remotely) work by applications/requests.

They know(i tell this every time to operators and repairers) that we try 3 modems(2 my and 1 their), 1 splitter and 2 microfilters, change port, change pair and other cable pair.
No one can answer me: if they tried to connect the modem on "dslam cross"(telephone station) or not?! Maybe there problem with their equipment. The ppl with whom I spoke have no information about that.

ІSP try to solve problem with synchronization loss over two weeks and close my request today. But even if there no disconnects(or 1 per day) since last friday i didn't notice any significant changes in line. Now:
Code: [Select]
SNR Margin (dB): 16.5 10.3
Attenuation (dB): 27.0 13.0
Output Power (dBm): 12.6 -1.3
Attainable Rate (Kbps): 14000 1048

HEC Errors: 87 815655
OCD Errors: 0 0
LCD Errors: 0 0

Bit Errors: 0 39020781

Total ES: 42 33379
Total SES: 0 6292
Total UAS: 17 35795141

I am trying to get information on D-LINK modem ADSL statistics page form any D-LINK support.
That's why my first post was about those Errors, huge ES/SES/UAS and thats why i was asking about that here :-\

p.s. sorry for using code bbcode, there is no spoiler :-[

Thank you for your time. FurryNutz

Any other ISP services in your region like Cable?

Seems like this is a ISP issue and ISP needs to clear this problem up and answer questions.

I don't think there is any thing else we can do here. Keep us posted of anything comes up from this.

After the the last message the situation didn't change until May. They started "preventive maintenance" and replace cross equipment -> all became "normal" (FEW HEC Errors and NO Bit errors).

A week ago, they returned the old equipment... Guess what?

Btw, we have new ISP with FTTC/FTTH (Fiber to the Curb/Home) in the area  :D
