DCS-5222L embedding live video in a web page
« on: October 25, 2012, 09:16:00 AM »

Hello,

Is there a way to embed an html snippet in my web page to stream live video from a DCS-5222L?

I have successfully done this with my DCS-930L but would like to upgrade to the DCS-5222L.

If I could allow the site users control of the pan/tilt/zoom also that would be extra awesome!

Thanks!

Can a moderator weigh in here? Is this possible?

Hello everybody

I'm also interested in this case. Has anyone ever done this before? Thanks for your effort.

Best regards

Hi. I run a live stream off of the DCS-5222L using www.camstreams.com This is a free service and it means your bandwidth is only hit by one upload. The downloads run through camstreams servers with no limit to the number of connections. I have used this for a number of years now with no problems.
Have a look at www.scillyman.co.uk/Lowertown_Live.html during daylight hours.

Hi,
The DCS 5222L doesn't support "talk" feature from mydlink lite IPHONE apps, meaning there no option to "talk" to the iphone and be heard from the camera. I already attached an speaker to the camera. In DCS 942L mydlink lite apps, there's an mic icon which can do this. Do you know any iphone app that has this feature?
Thanks
