I need a Wireless Range Extender device
« on: April 26, 2012, 09:34:15 AM »

I want to purchase an Wireless Range Extender device  because I get low signal strength in my laptop.

I  need such a device so that it  can work with  host routers like D-Link 2750U Wireless N  ,  D-Link DIR 655  and Linksys WRT54G.

Is there any quality range extender product from D-Link ?

I was searching forum and found this link

http://amplifi.dlink.com/Amplifi_Wifi_Booster

Is it a correct device which could meet my requirement ?

Please suggest few popular models  to check with .

Yes, that should apply to what your needing. I would also look at the DAP-1360 or 1522. Call your local DLink sale or support office and double check with them with what your needs are to be sure.
