I have a WebOS HP Tablet that I cannot get to connect to the Internet. The device uses automatic WiFi settings to find active networks and connets. I can log into the DIR-628 and see the device in the list. I can turn off the device and watch it drop from the list. However, the Tablet cannot/will not connect to the Internet using the WebOS browser.
We have Comcast cable with a Motorola cable modem.
I believe the router is set up for mixed mode wireless connections (b/g/n).
Other computers are able to connect not just to our network and to the Internet. Our laptop connects to the wireless network and the Internet. Other devices on our network access the Internet too, such as TiVo and another desktop.

Try single mode G or mixed G and N?

Channel Width set for Auto 20/40Mhz or try 20Mhz only.
Try setting a manual channel to a open or unused channel.
What security mode are you using? Preferred security is WPA-Personal. WPA2/AES Only. Some WiFi adapters don't support AES, so you might want to try TPIK only or Auto.
What wireless devices do you have connected?
Any cordless house phones?
Any other WiFi routers in the area? Use InSSIDer to find out.
Turn off Short GI, WLAN Partition and Extra Wireless Protection if you have it. Under Advanced/Advanced Wireless.
