This Forum Beta is ONLY for registered owners of D-Link products in the USA for which we have created boards at this time.
can u post a link to the download please?
The link is located in the sticky at the top of this board: http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?board=278.0
that one expands but with errors. It says "Could not extract the file.... error on decrunching. And when i try to use the file to update the firmware it says sticks on 0% for over 10 mins. i stopped it after that.
I know. I interpreted your last post as a request for the location of the download link everyone was trying.
Got one that checks ok : ftp://ftp.dlink.es/DNS/DNS-320/Firmware/Firmware%202.02/Firmware/DLINK_DNS320.2.02b01(2.08.0923.2011)(BETA).zipJust upgraded from previous 2.02, so far so good...
zansec, The release date on the file you quote in your post is the same date of the original beta firmware 2.02 that was removed from circulation. I advise waiting for the sanctioned updated file on the U.S. FTP site.
Actually no, the previous one was 09/02.
downloaded and installed the 2.02 firmware linked by JuLx64. still hasn't resolved the issue with time machine, although it's now getting to the "preparing backing" phase, it still errors our and "this network backup disk does not support the required AFP features."
For the record, given the non-U.S. source for the firmware referenced by this poster, there is no substantiation that this firmware is the November 2011 release (re-release) of firmware version 2.02b01.
The name matches the D-Link techs email announcement. It is labeled worldwide (ww). Check it out here:http://tsd.dlink.com.tw
On the other hand, the file was put on the server on Nov. 3rd. Looks to me that this is the announced firmware, but that there's some lag between the release and the announce. And if you check dlink's servers from other countries, you can see that they're far from being synched...
