No sign of UK supplies either... only European sourced models currently available here (come with power socket adaptor)... a case of supply problems, or D-Link wanting to clear out old stocks of the 343... it's been 3 months since the details went up on the UK website! Perhaps time to consider a different vendors product....

I saw the DNS-345 advertised on Amazon UK (but not Amazon US)

Yep saw that... doesn't appear to be directly from Amazon though so not convinced its a UK model.

Price on Amazon: £336.97
Price on Pixmania.com: £227 (+13 shipping) - though states an imported model

Why does something not feel quite right about these prices?

Perhaps not UK per se, but definitely Europe. The Amazon price looks about right if you factor in the value of the pound.
