After checking the status of iTunes Server on another NAS-s, I'd say that the abandoned mt-daapd should be replaced with more modern, in active development and iTunes 10-compatible forked-daapd solution.Something along these lines:http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=177&t=37472http://blog.synology.com/blog/?p=29
Can you please restate your request more concisely for inclusion on the master wishlist? Thanks!
Sure!Replace current mt-daapd/Firefly-based iTunes Server with AirPlay-capable forked-daapd code.Both are well known open-source projects.
The addition of Amazon S3 support was great except it costs too much ($0.15/GB). What about including support for other online backups (CrashPlan, Mozy, etc.)? Crash plan has linux client functionality already which should make it the easiest to add.
