If I create an FTP account to a specific person, I have to specify a directory to share and must be a directory which is on previously shared resources, which does not interest me because then I'd have many shared resources unnecessarily.

• GUI - Streamlined web interface (overly large icons and clutter make for difficult navigation)
• GUI - Themed GUI option (e.g. PC, MAC, Linux)
• General - Ability to configure the date format (e.g. YYYY-MM-DD)
• General - Ability to send email notification to multiple email accounts
• General - Ability to rename NAS root volume names (i.e. rather than Volume_1)
• General - Ability to restrict/grant access to USB attached storage to designated user accounts

User rights - can you add functionality to define more user/group rights like append and modify.

I'm not sure what "append" means in the context of permissions. Adding data to an existing file?
Do you think the inclusion of "Modify" (read/write/execute/delete) would be confusing to most users, since "write" access provides similar functionality?
