nettalk two routers
« on: June 23, 2011, 05:07:12 PM »

It seems the 615 has problems with the NetTalk device.  If I plug a different router into the 615(a model that's known to work well with NetTalk) will I likely still have problems?  It's not too clear to me if the "first" router will still produce the same problems even though the NetTalk device is on the "second router."  DHCP would be turned off on the "second" router.  Perhaps I can't express too clearly what I'm getting at, but I think some of the gurus out there will understand.

Thanks,

seen issues with nettalk and external routers.
Try setting firewall settings to Endpoint Indpendent for TCP and UDP.
Call up nettalk and ask them if they have any information on using routers, ports and such.
