DCS-930L failing to rejoin network after power interruption?

Just started using the DCS-930L yesterday. Things were good until mid-day today. The camera failed to rejoin the network after power interruption several times in a row. This would not be good for a security application. Has anyone else had this issue? Seems like camera does get a bit warm.

Interesting.  I power cycled the camera several times after I had set it up, and it registered and worked fine.

I didn't try a complete power cycel (e.g, cam, router, modem, pc, etc.)

Firmware upgrade needed?

Try using the RESET function on the camera then reconfigure. I had to do just that to one of my four DCS-930L cameras.
