WiFi dropout
« on: December 26, 2010, 09:36:11 AM »

I have a DIR-625.

WIRED:
2 x WinXP desktop
Xbox360

WIRELESS:
MacBook
Powerbook G4
Wii
Blackberry
iPhone

Initially around once a week but now around once every 1-2 days, the wireless will stop working. None of the above listed devices can connect to the internet. The wifi network will show up as a connection (the devices receive a signal) but no other data is exchanged.

Meanwhile, all wired devices can connect to the internet as normal without problems.

The quick fix is that by turning the router on and off (unplugging), it immediately fixes the problem only for it to reappear within a few days.

Anyone have any suggestions? I've found other forums with similar problems, but the people either had only WinXP devices, had only some wireless connections dropping out, or other different variables.
