Wireless takes a hike overnight
« on: May 21, 2008, 04:26:20 PM »

When we shut down for the night, we leave the router, modem and wireless printer running. The next day, one or more of the laptops can't print to the printer. Also, we can't get to the Internet wirelessly through the router. I can't log into the router wirelessly, either.

Sometimes, I can plug in the Ethernet connection to the router, log in and reboot it, but sometimes the only recourse is to unplug the router, which blows the time settings.

Sometimes the DSL modem needs a reset, but usually the router reboot is all that's needed.

Firmware is v 1.11.

So what's up with the router?
