Cannot Format Drives.
« on: May 10, 2008, 03:35:22 PM »

When I attempt to format any drive(s), the progress bar goes to 94% then stops forever.   >:(
I cannot get my drives to format (Firmware 1.04). Both drives are Seagate 160GB, purchased at the same time.

How can I get these drives to format completely?

You have tried multiable drives and all drives have this issue in the DNS-323? Do you ever get a message stating format failed? If you close the windows and  try to log into the DNS-323 again does it prompt you to format again?

I got it to work by using Firefox Browser to do the Admin and Formatting.

Now when I go into the Network on my system (Vista), it wants to install drivers for the DNS323.  How should I proceed?

Thanks!
