ICS freezes when connecting to a SharePort MFP
« on: October 02, 2010, 11:16:40 AM »

I have been experiencing an issue when hosts (mostly Wireless ones) connect to my MFP (HP PSC 1610 All-in-One). I have the latest firmware 3.08 and SharePort 1.16 installed on my DIR-625_REVC. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. Reproducing the issue:

1) Power on the MFP;
2) The SharePort tray icon becomes green (not always, though);
3) I see my MFP listed and "connect" to it;

Boom! The hosts are still connected to the network, but without any Internet access (for all of them) (I have ADSL - PPoE). It is still able to submit the document for printing, but we have to wait for the ICS "restart" itself before the Internet access is up again.

Any help would be appreciated.
