Can anyone offer me some help here please.  I have tried both the latest funplug and also the NFS Add on but have no joy, both have problems.  I am running firmware 1.08 and even tried the beta 1.09.  I have tried both the fonz NFS plugin and the DLink NFS addon.  With the Fonz pluggin I get NFS working and can connect but can't see any folders.  If I create a new folder I can see it created through Windows browser but not through the ESX data store browser

Now if I try the DLink Addon (I stop the fonz pluggin from starting), I start the service and point the file location but when I restart the device or restart the service the NFS share is gone

Has anyone else had these issues and no the way around it !!

It happens to me sometimes too when booting or restarting the DNS-323. A restart of the NFS service and the shares reappear in the web.

PS: Boy, this is a really buggy machine...

I think I'm missing the point of NFS. I've never had a use for it yet I stream music, video and pictures from it and store every type of file I can think of on it from 5 different machines and an Xbox?

NFS is the "Network File System", which is the standard on Unix/Linux, so if you don't have such a box you are probably not going to be interested in NFS.

Linux with SAMBA handles SMB shares just fine, and they're native to every NAS on the market.
