"Cannot communicate with primary DNS server"
« on: June 16, 2010, 04:05:37 AM »

I have the DIR-615 and bought this DIR-655 and same issue only on windows 7 machines. I have 6 computers 4 XP 2 Windows 7 and the XP machiens are fine, but windows 7 constantly has this error and loses internet connectivity. But if i wire one of them directly to my Portable modeml ISP it works fine. Is this an issue with windows 7 TCP window scaling option? I'm not sure, but doing a google search brought allot of other users having the same issue with windows 7 only. I am a network technician so i am 100% sure my IPs/ DNS etc.. are correct. I have moved them around to confirm. Uninstalled and upgraded driver for network cards. And my laptop windows 7, worked when it was running vista, only since the upgrade to windows 7 and the same for my desktop. So i'm thinking its a router/windows7 issue
