Wireless-N support
« on: May 26, 2010, 07:37:13 AM »

Hi.
I recently bought a DCS-1130 Wireless-N cam.
However I'm not able to get it to work with 802.11n on my Linksys WRT610N Access Point.
It works on the 802.11g band but not on the intended 802.11n.

Both units are running the latest firmware available.

Has anyone else had problems with 802.11n?

Your WRT610N is a dual band router.  That means it runs 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz.  If N runs on it's own channel @ 5.8 Ghz, connection speeds can reach 270Mb.  That being said, it's conceivable the router is defaulting the N channel to the 5.8Ghz band.  I'd go into the router and set the N channel to run on 2.4Ghz.
