SAMBA disabled
« on: January 20, 2021, 11:34:51 PM »

I have Windows File Sharing / SAMBA enabled in the router setup.  It's persistently being disabled for no apparent reason.  Printer and File Sharing is enabled in the Win-10 Wi-Fi settings.  The hard drive is used mainly backup a couple of home computers.  Any ideas about this?

You may want to contact tech support in your region so they can issue a ticket/dtrack. Are you in the US?

I'm sorry I didn't check back to see your reply.  Had pretty much given up, but hadn't contacted dlink support either.  The other day I finally decided to contact them.

Per support recommendation I updated firmware to 1.10.  That seems to have solved the SAMBA problem.
