DIR-3040 Forum Topic /w Firmware Links

Hi Folks,

D-Link just announced firmware 1.02 (29/11/2019) for the DIR-3040; anyone know where one can download the firmware and apply it manually?  I'd like to read the release notes and oversee the process ... not an "auto-update"/"blind-update" kinda person.

You can go to https://tsd.dlink.com.tw/ and search for DIR-3040 for the firmware file.

I've installed it and now I have issues.  Remote management does not work.  Also, under port forwarding/virtual server does not work either.  I now need to find out how to go back to the previous firmware and it sucks.  So if you use either of the 2 you may end up in the same boat.  In both cases, you can never get an outside connection inside.

Did you factory reset the router and setup from scratch after applying the FW update?

I try to find all the firmware's version released for the dir3040 but i only found the 1.02.

Did someone know where to have the full archives ?

Sincerest apologies on the tardiness of this reply; I've applied 1.02 and haven't experienced issues.  I haven't had a need in the current environment for inbound access so I haven't tested for the issues posted.
