Does this happen locally as well as remotely? I assume the router is functioning properly and connected to the Internet?

Did you change any settings or change your modem/ISP?

Did you reset the router?

Log into the router and go to Settings > mydlink. Make sure you are logged in to your mydlink account.

You do not need to keep displaying the message you get lol

That message means your router is not communicating to the mydlink servers (ie not connected to the Internet).

Is your modem connected to the Internet port on the router?

When you log into the router on the home page is it showing a check mark to the Internet?

You can reset and setup or at mydlink.com delete the router and then go into the router UI (http://dlinkrouter.local.) and go to settings > mydlink and log in with your account.
