Cannot log in to DNR-202L

I have a DNR-202l which has functioned well for a long time.  Suddenly, I cannot log in because it tells me my password is incorrect.  I cannot log in throught the MyDlink portal, or by going to the IP address of the device itself.  I did not change the password, but now it tells me the password that had been working is incorrect.  The device shows up on the MyDlink Portal, but I cannot log into it  I have tried admin and blank, admin and password, both fields blank, and admin and the password that used to work.  Any ideas on how I can access this device again?  I have multiple computers, all running windows 10, and the same happens on all devices.  I can view the attached cameras from my Android phones, and from my iPads.  I just can no longer sign in through the portal or through the IP address.  I have tried IE, FF< Chrome, and Edge.  I am on my home network with no proxy and no VPN.  I am A+, CCNA and MCSA qualified, so this is not a network issue, as I am able to freely access all other devices on my network.

Do a full factory reset on the DNR and set up the unit from scratch.

What version of FW is loaded on the DNR?

I cannot tell what firmware is installed as I cannot log in. How do I do a full factory reset?

I have tried that.  I push the reset, hold it for 10 seconds, the ring turns red.  Then it turns blue and the same situation exists.

Be sure to clear out all browser caches after you reset the DNR. Exit the browser then re-launch.
Try a different browser and test. 10 seconds should be long enough to reset the DNR. Try 15 seconds.
Is the DNR still connected to the network when you do the reset. Might try the button again with out the LAN cable or any USB drives connected.
