2630L Motion Activation Distance

Does anyone know?
I see the specs say IR illumination is up to 16 feet. Seems longer?


Im trying to benchmark this versus the 2670L which claims 15 feet IR illumination. I imagine specs are similar as just different housing for cam?

I downloaded the user manual.  I didn't see any PIR option.
It's video motion detection only. 

If there's enough light further out, you could get that with video detection.
