DSR-500 PPTP Server not working



PPTP Server used to work in my DSR-500 gateway. Now the port 1723 used by PPTP Server is not listening anymore. If I telnet myrouter 1723 the connection is refused. I upgraded my firmware and started from factory default settings doesn't resolve the problem.

I need to get this running again for remote users.

What can I do?

* What Hardware version is your router? Look at sticker under the router case.
* Link>What Firmware version is currently loaded? Found on the routers web page under status.
* What region are you located?
Internet Service Provider and Modem Configurations

* What ISP Service do you have? Cable or DSL?
* What ISP Modem Mfr. and model # do you have?
Also there is new FW available which may help. Let us know before updating:
