I have been experiencing some network latency lately and when I logged into my DIR-810L router the log gave this listing: user.warn: ncc[122]: [ltAttacks][nfOpFunc]Finish nf_dmz, 14. What does this mean?

Hardware Version: B1
Firmware Version: 2.01
Region: Missouri
PC, tablet, phone = Wireless
PS3 = Wired
I have never executed a factory reset and I have checked for firmware updates, but it's never shown that one is available. The firmware has been static since purchasing the router.
Cable 10MB/sec
The modem is a Motorola Surfboard/SB5101U

You might try updating FW first and see if this still appears:

So I downloaded version 2.03 B2, connected to the router, and when I went to Upload the file it stated that the file may be corrupt or I may not be logged in as the admin. So I tried the check for update button and it states that the firmware is the current version.

Did you unpack the FW .bin file from the .zip file?
Use IE or FF to upload the file?

That did it, but I'm guessing the log was some form of DOS attack, or some form of malicious occurrence?

Possible and the logs were just reporting it even though the details seems a bit advanced. Only D-Link would know what that log entery means fully.

Glad the FW update helped.

Enjoy.  ;)
