I installed a SD card on my camera for the first time and after formatting it, I tried to playback the recorded video on my iPad Mini 2. Everytime I try it, the My Dlink Lite app closes or crashes. I spoke to a Dlink customer service rep and she asked me to reinstall the application and reboot the iPad. Upon doing it, this did not resolve my issue. I can view the recorded video on my iPhone 6 without a problem but it does not work on the iPad. Both Apple devices are on IOS 8.3. I can also view live feedback on both devices without an issue.

Is there any reported/known issue with compatibility on the iPad?

Be sure to view the camera contents one at a time? Don't try to access the camera at the same time using the iPAD and iPhone...

What wireless modes are you using on the main host router?
What Mfr and Model is the main host router?

If the app is crashing, it means that something on the iPad isn't right and maybe causing the crash...

Try using open Wifi Security on the main host router as a quick test. Does the app crash still? Re-enable WPA2 on the main host router after testing.
