Do we have some more updates to this thread?
I have three DAP-1360 Rev C1 FW v 3.04 who ran into trouble some weeks ago. What happened is that the internal system clock doesn't synchronise properly anymore with the NTP server on net. I may assume that the internal system clock time range has been exceeded and therefore new settings via NTP do not work well.
I can see this on the internal system log - the timestamps in the log do not show the proper time. The cumbersome effect is that some mobile phones (Android SmartPhone) do not accept WiFi connection due to system clock mismatch.
This problem has been referenced for older GPS devices who do not connect and synchronise properly anymore with GPS satellite. The cause is said to be that they are unable to continue to work because the current time range is beyond their time range limit,
I don't think that a new FW version is sufficient to handle this, a new H/W revision is required with a new system clock chip supporting the actual time interval.
Can someone help me on this point?
I also had problems with the internal system log - I had to restart the DAP-1360 regularly to clear the internal system log automatically because it stopped working due to internal system log overflow! But actually, I can automatically manage this via an automated reset (power off/on). Worser is that Android SmatPhone refuses ho connect via WiFi due to clock mismatch!
Grateful for tips! Most probably, I will buy upgraded DAP-1360 devices - I am very satisfied with it for a long time!
Kind regards,
Axel
