Please open the link I previously provided and select the series and model number (DNS-323) from the drop-down menus in the center of the page.

I don't see 1.09 for hardware revision b1 anywhere there.

Correct.  Quite often, different hardware revisions for the same D-Link model don't follow the same FW version numbering schema. It's possible another "rev B" FW version has the same functionality as "Rev A" v1.09.

(e.g. DNS-320 Rev A FW v2.04 = DNS-320 Rev B FW v1.02)

I don't know off-hand.  I recommend looking at the release notes in the other DNS-323 Rev B versions and see if the listed changes correlate to the Rev A FW.  Release notes should be available (as PDF or DOC) by clicking on the link for any of the FW listed on the site.

I just read through some of the release notes and it looks like the release notes file for hardware revision "C" references A/B/C.  Adding to the confusion, there are instances where one FW version is cross compatible across multiple hardware revisions, but I don't know if that's the case here.

Are there any DNS-323 revision "B" owners who can validate a D-Link hosted source for FW v1.09 (or the equivalent thereof?

To the best of my knowledge the DNS323 firmware revisions are neither hardware nor region specific - and can be used on all three versions of the hardware, I've used them all on my unit and that was a Rev A.

Fordem, thanks for the feedback.  ;)

Adding some piece of mind, D-Link typically adds validation code that prevents the ShareCenter from uploading incompatible firmware. Presuming that's the case here, in theory the ShareCenter "should" be smart enough to recognize and reject incompatible firmware.
