It was shipped from Amazon on 14th August 2009. Sadly I think that means I'm up a certain creek and lacking the requisite rowing equipment.

But you're right, calling support can't hurt.

You've probably already surmised this considering the recently released DNS-345, but the DNS-343 is officially "Phased Out", as per the D-Link website.  Support will continue for some time to follow, but that too will eventually end.
