Amazon accepting late returns on the DIR-825

I pointed out to Amazon that this router (DIR-825) was not as advertised for several reasons. They agreed and said that I could return the router after the regular 30 day period. I basically said that the thing had latent defects that took more than 30 days to discover. You may also want to ask Amazon to return your router, if you bought it from Amazon, and it is more than 30 days old.

See the email below from Amazon. You can try to contact the same guy (Jofert C.) if you want.

I'm sorry to know that the router was not as advertised.

We accept the return of the merchandise as long as it's returned in new condition within 30 days of receipt. However, I've made a one-time exception to our policy because of the circumstances.

I've created an authorized return label that may only be used for the return of this shipment. Follow the link below to print your mailing label:

The page above contains instructions on printing your label, preparing your package for return shipment, and finding the UPS drop-off location nearest you. If you don't have a printer, write back to us to let us know:

To track your package on its way back to us, use the following UPS tracking number: xxxxxxxxxxxxx. Track your return here:

Expect your refund within 4 weeks of giving your package to the return shipper. In many cases, you'll receive the refund sooner. See our Returns Policy for details (

I hope this solution works for you. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
