Was a mistake to let AOL buy them IMO. Netscape had alot of features back then that only was just included in some others didn't have until much later. I sure enjoyed when they brought tabbed browsing.    I do like Opera now. Can group my tabs into different goups, like all my Dlink tabs can be set together.

There was one feature that I really liked in Netscape. The browser let you flag a website of interest and Netscape spidered through the website looking for updated pages, and downloaded them for offline viewing. That was a great feature back in the day when website updates were infrequent, unlike today when everything changes in real-time. I also believe Netscape also was one of the first browsers to offer the option to download an entire website and all child pages within the same domain.

Any one with a SB6120, got home yesterday and the modem was completely off. Roommate said he power cycled the power strip and moved the power adapter to a different strip with no luck. Meter checked the end of the plug and showed no 12v. This modem is only about 5-6months old. Gotta call Motorola and ask about it. Beware, made in China.  

Lucky I had my trusty old radio shack universal power.  

Update: I'll when I get home from work so they can get the serial # off the modem

I don't think I've ever had a power adapter go bad except one for a notebook one time.  Glad it wasn't the modem!

Today is day 40 over 100 degrees for us in north Texas.  It looks like winter with all the dead grass everywhere.  We're due to break a heat record by Saturday, they said.

On another topic, I spent two hours chasing why my printer wouldn't print after a Windows update.  Reinstalled both printer software and wireless print server software.  Come to find out the "use printer offline" selection was checked.  DOH!!    I don't know how that happened, but I think I may have clicked on it when cancelling a print job.

That's not as bad as troubleshooting a "printer not available" message for an hour, only to remember that I previously setup the printer with a wireless connection to my network, and the one PC I couldn't print from only had a hardline network connection. It took me the better part of an hour to remember that small fact.

So I called Motorola, they took the cereal number and my info and are sending me a new power adapter via USPS, be here in 7 to 10 days.   Good thing I got back up. Over all it was a good CS experience. Hope everyone else's keeps going for longer then mine did.   If not, just call and make sure you have the modem S# at the ready.
