Quick Router Setup Wizzard for Mac Tiger OS won't boot

I'm going to be on a roadtrip and planned to bring my DI-624 router to hook up between hotel room ethernet connections and my Mac G4 laptop running Tiger (OS 10.4).  When I try to install the Quick Router  Setup Wizzard from the CD, it does not boot automatically. I tried opening the CD in Finder and booting from there but none of the files will run.  Obviously I am not technically knowledgeable and cannot figure out how to proceed.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
