DAP-2553 Array
« on: August 28, 2012, 06:27:47 AM »

So, I'm trying to use the array functions built into the current firmware, 1.25. I try to follow some docs that show how it's done from the D-Link site, but none of them appear to work. I set one as the master, put in an array name, and a password. Save settings.

Go to second DAP2553, set it for slave, and the scan button doesn't change from grayed out to clickable, and even if I type in the array name, and password it never shows a connected status, and the master never shows any slaves in the status screen.

All AP's are on the same subnet but with distinct IP addresses. All are running the latest firmware from the D-Link site.

Any suggestions?

I recommend contacting your local regional DLink support office, maybe level to and ask about the array function.

Know this issue very well.

Save
Save configuration and activate
reboot AP

Slave device will appear.
