I have a DNS320 for two years and work with Win7 with no problem.
The Storage Utility Support interface recognise the DNS320 immediate and I could map to it.
NOT with Win8.
I could not get Win8 to see the DNS.
I could ping both the router and the DNS with no problem but it could not see the DNS.
In referring to Dlink their support staff was nice BUT I could not belive the reply.
They told me
'At this stage Storage Utility support for Windows 8 is not available. We have flagged this with R&D to look into as a future upgrade however we cannot provide a timeframe or guarantee that it will become available.'This is still a current model and they have not upgraded the firmware to make it work on Win8?
You have got to be kidding!!!
Does anyone has any suggestion how do I map my DNS to my Win8 based computer when the Storage Utility Support could not see the device?
Thank you.
Very frustrated Michael
