Firmware update

Hi,

It seems I have bought a French DIR 655 router. This is the second one as the first was not saving any settings after I had installed the latest Firmware. I am now quite cautious to install a newer version.
What is the story? Can I download the firmware from any site or do I have to stick to the French site?

I wouldn't use US firmware on that unit.. Where did you get it from? Couldn't you exchange it?

Something we don't know about? My NL/EU version has no issues with the US firmware, I would be very surprised if the hardware differs. The French are 'special' people, but not thát special... ;)
