Which connector does the Yellow plug mate to for the DWA-556 Xtreme N PCI Express Desktop Adapter, as there is not a coax connection guide for the three antennas?


The documentation only provides guidance for the DWA-542 and DWA-552 adapters.

Based on the pictures in the manual on page 7, the common denominator appears to be that the yellow plug goes to the connector closest to the end of the PCI Slot Bracket that has opening for the chassis mounting screw.

I could not find the antenna documentation on D-Link's site, so I can't share the pictures that are in the manual.

The ANT24-0230 Xtreme N 2.4GHz Antenna http://www.d-link.com/products/default.aspx?pid=ANT24-0230 page doesn't have any Support loaded at this time.
I was hoping to find a FAQ that would have answered my dilemma.

For now, I'm wired up with the yellow plug at the connector closest to the PCI slot screw location.
