DP-300U print server - multiple printers
« on: July 30, 2010, 12:56:10 PM »

Sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong spot - a forum search seemed to indicate that this is where posts related to the DP-300U ended up. At any rate, hello!

I'm trying to connect two printers to this 3-port print server. I manage to get one working following the instructions but I'm having problems with the second.

At some point in the process, it asks me the name of the TCP/IP port I want to create...at which point I try to use 192.168.0.10, the address of the print server. However, it was already used for the first printer. So it seems the second printer can't be added.

Is there something I'm missing? The quick instructions don't cover multiple printers and why would I only be able to use one printer if the thing has 3 ports? Seems odd.

Thanks in advance for any information!
