NFS enable failed
« on: March 15, 2010, 12:08:09 AM »

I couldn't access my share on NFS with 1.09 firmware so I decided to delete the add on then reinstalled it. When I tried to enable it, It gave an error "Enable Failed".

How do I fix this? ???

I have the same exact problem. I installed the NFS addon with 1.08 and it simply wouldn't work. I removed the addon and reinstalled it, now it won't start. I was considering upgrading to 1.09 to see if that would fix the issue.

Ok, I upgraded to 1.09 and the issue persists. Anyone from DLINK support care to shed some light on this?

I was able to get the addon working again by resetting the device back to factory defaults and reconfiguring it with the same settings. The addon did not need to be reinstalled after I performed the reset (I did it through the web gui, not the reset button on the back of the enclosure).

Does this reset not wipe the RAID config and all your data with it though?

A factory reset does not affect your data.
