DIR-865L v1.02 FW Released

I would not load any saved configuration files after doing the last Factory reset and set up the router from scratch and see how the router works. Save off a clean v1.02 configuration file here. Then maybe load the older v1.01 saved configuration file and see how it works for those of you who are in to testing. Maybe one of you can just upgrade over what is currently loaded and see how it works with out doing any factory resets.

Let us know how it works for you. Please follow the FW update process.

Sorry to report I am not using this router anymore so won't be able to test this out for you.

If you get a chance at some point, can you install the new version and see how it works? Please lets us know of any results and findings.

How does it compare to the 857??? in terms of wireless strength??? I s it worth the upgrade from the 857??

I think it's good, if not even better than the 857. So far in my limited testing...still using v1.01 FW out of the box and using mainly default settings accept for Wifi. I've taken some screen captures of newer items not seen on some other DIR series routers. I'll be posting them soon for review.  ;)

Care to give the 865L a try again? It has bridge mode now and could be used as a media bridge...
