Hi,

Many thx for this post, very helpful.

Can either of the players and fun plug be installed directly without the need to root the device or do anything creative? ie can you just add the apps in the 325's control panel like you can with the dlink apps?

Nope. If they were available as loadable DNS-apps, then there would be no need for such extensive tutorials, like those on nas-tweaks.net
