D-Link updated the DCS-932L release notes and I've updated the cumulative release note thread accordingly.

The release notes indicate that that crackling sound was fixed with the latest beta firmware update. Can DCS-932L users please validate this and post back?

The audio is definitely much better. It is still choppy--it cuts in and out. I am assuming that this may be connection-related. But it's more useable than it was before. This was a test from a remote location.  

I will try it again when I am at home on the local LAN and report back.

I have two major issues with this firmware:

1) FTP settings -> Image Frequency -> Seconds/Frame is broken. For example frequency 3600 seconds (60 seconds x 60 minutes) should upload 1 image each hour, right? Well, it doesnt... images are uploaded but severly unpredictable and uneven periods. Or am I missing something?

2) No daylight savings support when syncing time with time servers.
